Enrico Zimuel (Pescara, 1974) is a Software Engineer since 1996.
He collaborates with the most important italian companies in the fields of software development and computer security.
He did research work in the field of XML Database at the Informatics Institute of the
Amsterdam University (The Netherlands) and he collaborated with the Science Department of
University "G.D'Annunzio" of Chieti - Pescara in the field of XML query languages.
He is specialized in cryptography and cryptanalysis and he is the co-author of the italian book
"Secrets, Spies and Cipher Codes" Apogeo (1999) and he collaborated to the italian version of the book/documentary
"Revolution OS, voci dal
codice libero" Apogeo (2003).
He published scientific and divulgative articles on: semi-structured data in XML, computer security, cryptography and secure software.
He was speaker of many international and italian conferences.
He has a B.Sc. honors degree in Computer Science and Economics from the University "G.D'Annunzio" of Chieti - Pescara, Italy.
Moreover he studied at the NKS school of
Stephen Wolfram at the
Brown University (USA). Actually he works as Senior Consultant & Architect at
Zend Technologies in Italy.
